PhCL Sound insulation tape (physically cross-linked)

Self-adhesive insulation tape made of physically cross-linked foamed cellular polyethylene, with closed pores, on one side of which an adhesive layer with a protective film is applied. The tape is elastic, easily glued, and adjustable to any surfaces. The tape does not melt, does not have an unpleasant smell, is resistant to corrosion, moisture-resistant, and prevents passing of sound through connecting elements.

The tape is used to prevent the transmission of acoustic vibrations through the connecting elements of various structures:

    • metal profiles, communication boxes, and etc.

Framed partition mounted without sound insulation tape acts as a drum that amplifies acoustic vibrations. Sound insulation tape is a prerequisite for frame construction.
