“Window opening with a quarter” bundle

The presence of a quarter in the window opening makes it impossible to use external window tape in areas where a quarter is present. In these areas pre-compressed sealing tape (PURS) is used instead of external window tape. In the case of a solid quarter the external window tape is not used at all; its functions are performed by the PURS. But in most cases a quarter is missing on the lower part of the window opening due to the need of the weathering installation. Therefore in this area it is advisable to use an external window tape (ALENOR External or ALENOR OH T).
