ALENOR WARM WINDOW TECHNOLOGY (AWWT) is a system of ready-made solutions for protecting the connecting (assembly) seam using ALENOOR window tapes in accordance with the requirements of EnEv (DIN 18055 “Criteria for the use of windows and external doors in accordance with DIN EN 14351-1).

This technology allows to perform the installation ”in a warm way” of windows using Ukrainian-made window tapes. AWWT is also recommended for use when installing doors and balcony blocks, sliding systems and storey full-height glazing.

HOW THE MOISTURE ENTERS AN UNPROTECTED ASSEMBLY SEAM AND DESTROYS IT

Let’s look at the experiment and figure out how the moisture destroys the unprotected thermal insulation layer of the assembly seam. The thermal insulation layer is a polyurethane foam used for window installation.

Where does the moisture come from inside the assembly seam?

Firstly, from the inside of the building. Wet vapor is formed as a result of cooking, washing, wet cleaning, hygiene procedures, the operation of air humidifiers, evaporation of the moisture from plants and aquariums, and the breathing of people and animals. Or as a result of technological processes inside the industrial buildings and premises.

HOW TO PERFORM A WINDOW INSTALLATION IN A “WARM WAY” USING ALENORE WARM WINDOW TECHNOLOGY

Window installation in a warm provides three-layer protection of the assembly seam in accordance with DSTU B V.2.6-79:2009 “Connection seams at the junctions of window blocks with wall structures.”

The assembly seam consists of three conventional sections: internal vapor barrier, central thermal insulation (polyurethane foam), and external waterproof vapor permeable.
